It is with great sadness that the family of Elizabeth Ann Lee Minges "Lib" announces her passing, on Thursday, January 4, 2018, at the beautiful age of 84 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her surviving children, Libby "Beryl" Cornelia Minges Cyrus, Clyde Estes Minges lll, and Tandra "Robin" Marsha Minges Cozzolino as well as by her grandchildren and great grandchildren, Elizabeth Ann Minges, Vernon Ray Bullock Jr., Anthony Steven Minges, Alison Beryl Cyrus Frazee, Richard Beryl Minges, Christin Lynn Cyrus Weslowski, Christopher Micheal Hodges, Angela Marie Minges, Kaytlyn Suzanne Cyrus, Matthew Dean McClure, John David MInges, Ruby Elizabeth McClure, Ryan Jason Frazee, Kelly Ann Minges, Rylan Hale Minges, Laurel Jean Minges, Christopher Damien Hodges, and Julyann Arya Hodges. Lib was preceded in death by her son Dean Lee Minges, whom is also fondly remembered at this time as well.

Lib's personal wishes were to have a private, family service at the Massengill Family Cemetery on Godwin Lake Road in Benson, North Carolina where she will be laid to rest beside her lifelong friend, sister, and mother, Mama Helen Massengill on January 14, 2018.

Lib was born on October 13, 1933 and raised in Benson, North Carolina where she graduated from Meadow High School. She later attended Methodist College of Fayetteville, North Carolina in the 1950's for religion and business. Lib also obtained her Real Estate license in 1980 and remained the Broker in Charge Of Minges Realty until her passing. Lib was a passionate woman who loved her clients and moved mountains for many to obtain the home of their dreams. Real Estate was LIFE to Lib.

Lib cherished all children and quickly became "Granny" to so many extended friends and family throughout her life. She was a bright and cheerful soul who brought light into our lives...Meadow High year books mention her as being giggly, witty, and mischievous. We can all attest that Lib never really changed. There never was a stranger that she met. We are all connected in this world and she taught us that kindness was meant for all!

Lib lived and breathed real estate and family. Her hard work and dedication to both of these assists in her life were never ending and continue to impact us all deeply even today. Some of her final words to us all were "be happy" and "I love you". Personal sacrifice was a way of life for Lib. She will forever be remembered for the great giver that she was and still is to us all. Those who so desire may make a memorial donation in memory of Lib to Saint Judes Children's Hospital.
